History

History charts charge, power, temperature and health by day, week, month and year, and adds up the time on battery, charging and fully charged.

What is recorded

Section titled “What is recorded”
  • A charge sample whenever the level or power source changes, and every ten minutes otherwise.
  • Power samples every 60 seconds by default, while Record power and temperature is on in Settings › Data.

How long it is kept

Charge history is kept for 400 days. Power samples are kept as recorded for 30 days and as hourly averages after that.

Export and import

Section titled “Export and import”

Settings › Data exports the full history to CSV and imports a CSV back, for a new Mac or a fresh install. The history is a database in your user folder and never leaves the Mac.
